COVID-19 Policy
Screening:
· Please cancel your appointment if you meet any of the following criteria over the past 2 weeks:
coughing
fever over 100 F
shortness of breath
travel out-of-state
exposure to someone who is either positive or suspected with Covid-19
The late cancellation fee will be waived under these circumstances.
With each appointment made online, you will be prompted to complete our online health screening.
We may take your temperature using a touchless thermometer if indicated.
Office Hygiene
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Per recommendations from the CDC and WHO, please wear a cloth face covering from your car to your treatment room.
Cloth face coverings are mandatory in our office. If you do not come with one, we have masks available for purchase for $1.
Our acupuncturists will be wearing masks at all times.
No waiting in waiting room:
Upon entering the office, please do not touch any surfaces. Go directly to our washroom, wash your hands, and proceed to whichever treatment room has an open door.
Companions:
If you need to bring a companion to your appointment, the companion must wait outside of our building.
Treatment rooms:
Hand sanitizers are in each treatment room, waiting room and front desk area.
Treatment tables, bins, and door handles are thoroughly disinfected with hospital grade antimicrobial disinfectant spray after every patient.
We have removed fleece pads since these cannot be adequately disinfected.
Office Logistics
Limited appointments:
We have staggered our acupuncturists’ schedules to limit the number of individuals in our office at any given time.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please provide us with 24-hour notice to avoid incurring a fee.
Online scheduling & payment:
Appointments can be scheduled online at www.springlotus.janeapp.com. Please create an online account that will securely store your credit/debit card information.
We can then charge your card on file after your visit. You can still pay by check or cash, if you’d like.
Paperless:
All consent foms and new patient forms will now be online. Please update your demographic info when you set up your new account. We can also pass documents and treatment recommendations through your patient portal.
